I love my dog very much. My dream starts off as I’m at work behind the cash register doing my normal things, then a customer shows me that a dog is sniffing around, I then realize it’s my dog and think to myself “she must have gotten out of the house and sniffed me down all the way to here” so then I pick up my scissors that I use to open boxes and stabbed her in the neck….i didn’t realize what had actually happened in the dream until I saw her bleeding profusely, once I saw that I began to feel immense weight and started spiraling out of control crying, spinning in circles, in my peripheral vision I could see the customers through my teary eyes but couldn’t see what they were doing, as my dog was screaming and yelping in pain it was almost as if I could hear her saying “why, how could you do this to me” and all I could think about was how I was going to explain this, I was trying to think of what was gonna happen next, what I could do, then suddenly I gained consciousness and woke up, in a relief being more sleep than awake, I said very loudly “YESSSS THANK GODDDD IM SLEEEPING!!!!!”
Dreams can be complex and often have multiple layers of symbolism. In this dream, it seems that the presence of your beloved dog symbolizes loyalty, love, and companionship in your life. The act of accidentally harming your dog in the dream may represent feelings of guilt or fear of causing harm to someone or something you care deeply about.
Being at work in the dream could symbolize stress, responsibilities, or a feeling of being overwhelmed in your waking life. The stabbing incident with the scissors might represent a subconscious fear of making a mistake or causing harm in a situation where you feel pressure or responsibility.
The intense emotional reaction in the dream, including crying and feeling out of control, could indicate unresolved feelings of guilt, shame, or anxiety in your waking life that are surfacing in your subconscious mind. The feeling of needing to explain your actions and the fear of consequences may suggest a fear of judgment or a need for forgiveness.
Waking up in relief and expressing gratitude for still being asleep may signify a subconscious desire to escape from or avoid facing difficult emotions or situations in your waking life. It could also indicate a need for rest, self-care, and reflection on your emotions and actions.
Overall, this dream may be reflecting inner conflicts, fears, or anxieties that need to be addressed and processed in order to find peace and resolution in your waking life. It might be helpful to reflect on any recent events or emotions that could be triggering these feelings and to consider seeking support or guidance in processing and understanding them. Remember, dreams often serve as a way for the subconscious mind to communicate important messages and emotions that may be difficult to address consciously.
